Healing For Wounded Hearts

So many women--and even men, if they'll admit it--live with deeply wounded hearts. I used to be one of those women. The good news is that God sent His Word to heal us and deliver us (Ps. 120:7). Come and join me in discovering true healing.

Hey Dawn, Welcome to our group. Sorry, I've been so out of pocket lately. Been keeping my neighbor's girls a lot lately and while I really enjoy it, it wipes me out and the time I usually spend on things like this, I end up falling asleep. At any rate, I'm glad you joined our group. I hope you will take time to read some of the discussions we've had...especially the ones about understanding our Father's love. When our hearts have been wounded by others, a good starting place for healing is to understand God's love for us. Feel free to leave comments or questions at any point and we will try to respond to you. Hopefully, I won't be so slow in responding in the future.

Hi Dawn! I'm glad you wrote here. We're all in the "same boat", you know. Our hearts have been wounded. But there is healing in Jesus. He is so good and faithful to us. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you and getting to know you. Blessings!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group. I'm a little on the shy side, so it may take me some time to really open up here. I'm glad to have found this group. The past few years have been really rough and have definitely left my heart wounded. I'm looking forward to finding some encouragement as well as to being an encouragement to others.

Welcome to our group Michele. Feel free to join the current discussions on Understanding the FAther's Love or start your own. I've been working on writing my book so haven't started any new discussions lately but am always up for interacting if you have comments or questions about current or new topics.

I want to welcome all of our new members to the group. Please feel free to jump in with questions or comments. I encourage you to click on the "View All" button and read through some of the wonderful discussions we've been having. Add your comments and questions as you are comfortable. No discussion is ever closed.

Also, anybody is welcome to start your own discussion if you have a particular topic you want to discuss.

I've been out of pocket with medical issues (myself and dog) the last couple of weeks but am working on the next segment of our Longing to be Loved discussion.

Denise...Yes, you belong here. Anybody who has had their heart wounded is welcome here...it doesn't matter how, why, or by whom. I encourage you to read the discussions we've already started on Longing to be Loved as I believe a lot of our woundedness stems from that unfulfilled longing.

You tell me please, if I belong in this group...my heart has been wounded to many time's to count. There have been people and this include's my own son...who has put their hand's in my chest pulled out my heart and left me bleeding. I don't feel I have done anything to bring this to my door step, it just seem's to happen.

Hi Debbie. Thanks for the invitation. This seems to be timely as I have recently been coming to terms with things and trying to make some sense of it all. I will do my best to be active and a part of the discussion, but I find my time so limited most days that I do not know how much I will be able to participate. I will give it my best effort.
