- I am in College at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and I am home for the summer. I am studying Mass Media... I have a wonderful family of whom I love with all my heart and to prove it, I joined Heart Beat World for my mom!
By the way, my mom is the Founder/CEO of Heart Beat World and HeartBeat the Magazine online. She ROCKS and she is my hero!

Hello, everyone!
Hey everybody! I havent been on here in awhile...well, actually not at all, but i am now! Thank you for your sweet comments, i'm going to try and keep up with them! :-)
My first year at Ouachita Baptist was absolutely amazing! I love it up there (it's in Arkadelphia, AR for those of you who don't know). Arkadelphia is probably the smallest town i've ever been in, but we always seem to find something fun to do. Blessings Bethany! Hope your home now, going to start to enjoy the summer too!I just wanted to let you know it's great to meet someone else on here who is or has attended OBU! Go TIGERS! I'm an old man. I graduated in '82. Some of my best friends to this date are those I made while at Ouachita.
I'm still in touch somewhat with, the man who was our Dean of Students at the time, Bill Dixon.
There are some GREAT men and women of God who are professors there. Those, in my day, still mean a lot to me and I think about them on occasion when something causes me to remember my days back there.
What's your major? And what is it you see God calling you and equipping you to do in your future?
