- I'm Lori, I am married and I have 3 beautiful daughters that have grown up too fast. But I love them to death. I have an awesome son who has given me 3 grandchildren. My Hubby and I love to camp. I enjoy ,cooking ,drawing ,reading doing crossword puzzles, playing catch with our dog and hanging with my kids. Looking forward to Lifest 2009 in July. It's like a Christian Woodstock. ;o) Awesome music.

I'm not getting on myspace very often and on Shout about twice a week to post poetry and pick up messages.
Geoff has been in hospital for a week after several falls from very low blood pressure. I pick him up today and he can't be left alone so I won't be on the comp much any more.

I haven't spoken with you in awhile so I thought that I'd stop by and say hello. I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving! Hope all is well with you and if I don't talk with you before then, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. Hugs!

Thank you so much for thinking of me. That last day seemed to be pretty straightforward with all 6 assessments ready, until 4:00 when the radio show I had recorded/edited corrupted when I burnt to CD at home. All my work was due at 5pm!
I went back to the campus computer to see if that file there was ok - but it wasn't, so I decided to hand the corrupt disk in with everything else...better than nothing, I thought & then when it was found to be corrupt, surely they would ring me and ask me to resubmit, by which time I would have sorted out the problem. ie I woudn't really be finished yet - prob'ly have to re-do the whole thing!
As I was driving away I had a sudden thought that maybe I would not get a call, maybe I would be given a big fat zero for that section. So I decided I may as well try & fix right then, even though there wasn't enough time to drive to the radio studio, fix & drive back thru Fri a/noon traffic by 5pm.
But it was worse than I thought back at the studio...the file was corrupted there too. I gave up. Too hard. But then a tech guy walked in (&this is how I knowpeople were praying, 'cos this bit had nothing to do with me), decided to help, fixed the issue, burnt the CD, told me what to say to the lady in the office, & I hopped in the car to drive back again at 5:00. I got there at 5:10...I don't know how I got there so fast! Explained what had happened - and she let me switch the disks! I cried when I got back in the car. So now you know the detail. Thanks for praying :)
