First things first...

I'm just a mom of four, a wife to my husband of nearly 24 years, sister and friend living in a beautiful place, walking out my days clinging to Jesus, trusting in His salvation and eternal hope.

Other stuff about me:

I absolutely LOVE to quilt. I'm a novice really, but I do enjoy it!
Scrapbooking.. tons of fun. Love all the pretty papers!
Any other kind of sewing. Fabric, fabric and more fabric!!
Homeschooling.. because I've been doing it for a gazillion years!
Adoption.. because it characterizes my relationship with my Heavenly Father and also has been a blessing in our earthly family.

Lots of thoughts running through my head after hearing the Sunday sermon on Job. Three weeks down, thirteen to go. Yes, I'm counting.

The Lord is good all the time. He's good when things happen we don't understand. He's good when it rains and when the skies withhold the rain. He's good. What the enemy intends for evil, God will make good. In and out of season, be ready with the Word. Be ready with Truth. Be ready. Don't fear tomorrow, fear God for He holds tomorrow, but fear Him with awe not terror, for He loves us abundantly and He withholds no good thing from those He calls "child."

Can't forget that.
