Here in California we don't experience such violent weather, however I have seen the fury of the wind in my travels back east. So grateful YOU are safe! Take care and know my prayers are with you and your damaged community.

my hubby passed away in July of 2008 - I did not want to put single on my relationship status yet- maybe some day- My 19 year old grand daughter lives with me until her marriage in 2010- we have one dog who lives with us and has the name of Dogman- I am just learning my new journey that God is leading me on- The Lord is my shepherd- I use Meme as a short name rather than the Marilyn- and some times I may be Oma as that is what the grand kids call me- it depents on the day--LOL

my week---------
I must say that this week did zip by quickly
even though I was alone most of the time
Miss Ashley went to visit other grandma and
was blessed by going to see the ''Lion King.
she enjoyed it and just her and grandma went.
she did come yesterday for a shower and a briefing
LOL and now has gone to take care of her sisters
for the week end
so Dogman and I have had to keep ourselves busy
and off the street.
the weather has been nice and we had a few storms
pass by but left no damage behind.
I am lear… Continue

Just want to do a check in and say that I am ok- feeling a bit off - due to some health issues
and so I am resting and maintaining the old house-
our hot weather settled down which means the horrid thunder storms have stopped for now- a lot of farmers lost their crops due to the a hail and one town has a lot of damage- 900 houses and business
have been badly damaged- from wind and hail - they are just fixing things up now for safety so people can continue to live in their homes and they think it… Continue
