Without details, suffice it to say, that my Healer was/is Jesus Christ...before I was even a twinkle. His stripes, His pain, all of it, was for me! Survival is a funny thing. At the time, you think you will never make it, that you just cannot survi…

YOU WAIT

I am thinking now that it is random,
This duck and dive,
This run and hide.
They are swimming in the swollen rivers of themselves.
You wait with longing.

I am wondering if they are aware yet,
This unwarned mass of the quivering,
This suffering huddle of the shaming.

GIFT FROM GOD

As I have gotten older, it has become increasingly clear that friendship is indeed a gift from God (no trite message intended).

When I was younger, I was an island of sorts...maybe more of a peninsula~attached yet distant, most of the time. I had many, many acquaintances, chit-chat partners, co-worker lunch pals, hockey buddies and fellow PTSA members~similar in purpose but shallow in substance.
I had though, perhaps one or two true and good friends. They were the ones I turned to and who turne… Continue
