- First and foremost, I'm a VERY blessed man. I've been married for 24 years, to a very wonderful woman, Miriam. I've been blessed with 2 great kids both in college now!!! I'm blessed to serve as the pastor of a small country church in S.W. Louisiana, where I've been now for 15 years. God has been good to me. And it's my desire just to try in any way I can to share that goodness to all I can. I'm a very down to earth man who loves the outdoors.

Hello Ron, sure was good to hear from you and to catch up with your comings and goings. Glad you are over the sinus infection, they can be a mess if you don't head them off pretty quick.
The weather here is changing, it's nice today 68*F according to my readings. We have the Fair and Rodeo going on and the parade today. Gene has to be there since he is the Commander of the DAV chapter here...the riders are going to honor the Military (all branches) by a show of flags, i'm going to take my camera and try to take some pics.
I am the adjutant for the womens auxiliary here locally so i stay busy with that. We have a State conference in Heber Springs in Oct, looking forward to that, last years was great.
Gene also teaches a youth class (boys) on Wed night at our church...........he's good at that, he is also working at the college here teaching truck driving....loves that of course. So for a couple of retirees we stay busy, lol.
Sounds like you stay pretty busy too..........the Grandparents day was a blessing i'm sure.
I wish you could have met Lori and Bob, beautiful people, she's as sweet in person as on here.
